Finding the Church: The Church is on the south side of Town Hall Square, between the Gallowtree Gate and Market Street shopping areas. It is 5 minutes walk from the Railway Station. Pedestrian and cycle access is very easy from all parts of the city centre. Some buses drop off on Horsefair Street on the opposite side of Town Hall Square from the church, many others use the Charles Street bus stops, a short walk away.

Parking There are metered parking spaces along one side of Bishop Street. There are also metered bays in surrounding streets, up to 3 hrs, or longer term in various local car parks. There are disabled badge holder spaces and an unloading bay in Bishop Street.
After 6.00pm each evening, and all day on Sundays the metered bays are FREE. There is also evening parking on surrounding streets, on single yellow lines.

All parking restrictions apply on Sundays, except that the metered bays are free.

Bishop Street Road Works: Note that as part of the installation of a district heating/energy system, Bishop Street is currently (From Jan 10th 2012) blocked off at the Granby Street end, while they dig a trench along the length of the road. Vehicles appear to be accessing it from the other end (against the direction of the road), but this may not be possible for long. There will therefore be severely limited vehicle access to the street during the works. It is assumed they will complete this by the end of January (perhaps), at which point they will presumably dig up  Bowling Green Street. The instruction below relate to ‘normal conditions’:-

Bishop Street has vehicle access from Granby Street, which is itself a one way street running north. However it is no longer directly accessible from London Road. To get to Granby Street at present, either

- (green route on map below) drive north along Charles Street, first left into Northampton Street, and right into Granby Street

-  or (orange route on map below) turn from Tigers Way into S. Albion Street, left along Dunkirk Street, Right down Wellington Street, Right along Chatham Street, and left into Granby Street.

Once you are on Granby Street, go straight on at the Belvoir Street junction and turn next left into Bishop Street. The church is three quarters of the way along the street, on the left hand side.

Below is a map showing the location of the church. For a more detailed map, see the Google map.Map2
