Talk in the Chapel: Thursday 23rd January 2020. Time 6.15 to 7.15pm: Joseph Roberts: Grocer of Distinction by Brian Johnson. Joseph Roberts founded a grocery business in 19th Century Leicester. He was a member of Bishop Street Methodist Church. He laid the foundation stone for the school room building next to the chapel. The collection will go towards the Benevolence Fund.
